Sadly, this beautiful Matt Garrison Signature represents the last time that we can faithfully reproduce the EXACT wood specifications of Matt’s original Signature Fodera.  Two of this year’s NAMM instruments contain the very last two Chestnut tops we have and this MG also even has a Chestnut Tone Block (just like Matt’s original).

With its compact body, 33” scale and 17.5mm string spacing, this wonderful instrument was designed to make chording and lightening fast solo runs a joy to play.  Its Walnut body, 5-piece Ash neck and Ebony fingerboard make for a rich, well-balanced tone that allows exceptional note to note clarity and articulation.

As an interesting point, every spec for this instrument is identical to Matt’s original Signature instrument (his second Fodera) except for the string spacing – which we opted to go with the 17.5mm spacing that Matt is presently playing (and that is used on the Matt Garrison Standard) rather than the original 19.0mm spacing.
