NAMM instrument #6 for 2018 is another for all of the 4-string players out there to love.  This Emperor 4 Elite was built with a Roasted Ash body, Ash tone block, and Birdseye Maple fingerboard.  This combination provides this bass with a powerful and punchy tone with a deep, dark low end, precise midrange, and snappy, well-articulated highs.
Of course, a NAMM bass has to do more than sound great.  It has to have a killer look to match, so to accomplish that we went with a non-solid Ebony top (complete with matching wooden pickup covers) and a 9-piece Maple neck with Purpleheart and Anigre stringers.  This classic combination of a multi-laminate neck with a dark non-solid top creates a striking that we absolutely love.  Add to that mix the copious amount of Birdseye figuring in the fingerboard, and we’re left with one incredible looking bass!
