Masters Series: Hands-On Workshop with Patrick Pfeiffer

Monarch Triplet Challenge!
Recently, we unveiled a little experiment we conducted. We built 3 Quilted Monarch 5 strings with all of the same specs with the only difference being the Neck Construction, one Bolt-On, one Dovetail, and one Neck Through. We wanted to see how the neck construction impacts the tone and sound of a bass. We then asked Fodera Artist, Matt Garrison, to play and record each Monarch to compare.
Recently, we had two young students from Hunter College, Abraham Vazquez and Jordan Cortese, honor us by making their Campus Movie Fest entry about Fodera! They wanted to express not only our history, but to really focus on a small business in this day in age, and to really talk about the value of quality over quantity in this economy. We couldn't be happier to host the young filmmakers!
