Unique Features

This Emperor 5 Elite was built for incredible bass player and great friend, Artie Reynolds.  For this bass, the goal was to make a "twin" fof his 2011 Quilted Maple Emperor 5 Elite that sounded virtually identical, but with a slightly different look.  This was so that he always has two nearly identical Foderas at his disposal both for American Idol and for touring.

Like his previous Emperor 5 Elite, this bass has an Alder body, Ash tone block, and Birdseye Maple fingerboard, giving it a tone that is the best of both worlds with a great slap and a deep, fat low end.

Instead of a light colored Quilted Maple top, this bass is built with a darker Peacock Maple top, giving it a gorgeous look that is distinctly different, yet decidedly reminiscent of it's predecessor.
