Unique Features
Built for one of our longtime dealers in Japan, this Imperial 5 has an Alder body with a Maple tone block, giving it a deep and warm low end but with more brightness than you would get with pure Alder. Its Ebony fingerboard imparts clarity and a bell-like quality to the upper register.
33" scale length makes this instrument very comfortable to play, and being strung E to C, this bass is great for beautiful melodic lines or chords in the upper register.
