Unique Features
One of the best things about working at Fodera is getting to hear and play these incredible instruments as they make their journey from our little shop in Brooklyn to their new homes. You quickly learn that each and every one of them has its own unique voice.
This Emperor II was built with a Mahogany body, giving it a clear and even tone with some added punch, courtesy of its Swamp Ash tone block. An Indian Rosewood fingerboard puts the bass on the warm side of the tonal spectrum.
But a Fodera is more than the mere sum of its parts.
This 6 string sings with a warm growl that is deep and rich in the lower register with beautiful resonance in the high end. With its single cutaway body you can really feel the resonance throughout your whole body, allowing you to really lock into the groove.
