For this Monarch 5 Elite we had the rather rare request for a 35", long scale neck with narrow, 17.5mm bridge spacing. The result is an instrument that is very comfortable to play while still retaining the tight low B string associated with long scale basses.
This bass has an Alder body with an Ash tone-block, which are balanced beautifully by its Ebony fingerboard. Deep, rumbling lows give way to bell-like highs and an underlying warmth that is present throughout the range with no sacrifice to clarity.
