Unique Features
Fodera number 73! Featuring an Ash body, old growth Indian Rosewood fingerboard and three-piece Maple neck, this wonderful instrument gives us all a peek back in time to see what our instruments looked like in 1984. Take note of the original Schaller tuners and bridge, EMG J/J PUPS with "original" Fodera spacing, and a 1st generation Fodera / HAZ preamp with volume-volume-tone control layout and classic three switches (active-passive, 3 position EQ, standbye).
Of course our original, large wooden butterfly logo is a dead giveaway that this is one of our early babies, but when plugged in it sounds like it was built just yesterday. Deep, rich punchy and articulate with a level of tonal detail that was years ahead of its time. Yes it eats batteries and yes we've improved a lot of the little details since 1984, but man oh man is #73 a blast to play!
